About Our Company

Established in 1991

In 1991, President L. Scott Rogers formed AES, which has since grown to a staff of around 20 people and has developed a loyal base of clients who look to us for expertise and assistance with contract operations, management, turnkey, calibration, troubleshooting, and commissioning for water and wastewater treatment systems.

We strive to provide our small public and private sectors clients with quality service and effective system solutions to help them succeed at bettering our environment and communities. We maintain a low overhead which allows us to offer more affordable service options than other organizations and helps us keep our focus on solving our clients' unique project challenges.

Mr. Hall has over 23 years of extremely broad based experience in the water and wastewater industry. During that time he has worked in many different capacities at several different facilities. He has worked at both public and private facilities, as well as municipal and industrial treatment plants. He is skilled in advanced methods and theories of industrial and domestic wastewater and water treatment, distribution, compliance, maintenance and repair, as well as laboratory analysis, methodology and QA/QC.

Mr. Rogers has over 38 years experience as a civil engineer, primarily in water and wastewater treatment. Mr. Rogers has been involved in the analysis, design, upgrade or operations of over 160 treatment facilities. He is known for his ability to improve and upgrade water and wastewater systems for minimal cost. His expertise is in operations consulting, water reuse, instrumentation design, pumping systems and biosolids reuse and disposal. He was the project engineer for the first MBR facility in Utah, which won the ACEC Grand Award for Water and Wastewater.

Mr. Hanson has been the general manager of the Salt Lake County Service Area #3 for 16 years and was the operations manager for 12 years prior to that. He has worked parttime with AES since its inception, and he helped to found the company.
